Cairo Alexandria Package Itinerary:

Day 1:

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport at your requested time, our representative will meet you to assist with passport control, luggage identification, and portage. You will then be transferred to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy the evening at your leisure and overnight in Cairo.

Day 2:

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, your expert tour guide will pick you up at 8:00 AM to begin a full-day exploration of Egypt’s ancient wonders.

Your tour starts at the iconic Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids of Khufu (Cheops), Khafre (Chephren), and Menkaure (Mykerinos). You will then visit the Valley Temple, where priests performed the mummification rituals for King Khafre. Adjacent to the temple, you will get an up-close view of the legendary Great Sphinx, the massive monument with the body of a lion and the face of King Khafre guarding the complex. Your guide will be on hand to assist you in capturing stunning, professional-quality photos throughout the visit.

A full lunch at a local restaurant is included during the day (beverages available for purchase separately).

Following lunch, you will travel 27 kilometers southwest of Cairo to Saqqara to behold the Step Pyramid of Djoser. Recognized as the world’s oldest major stone structure, this monument represents a crucial evolutionary leap in Egyptian architecture, transforming simple mastaba tombs into the classic pyramid design.

Your day concludes with a visit to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt founded around 3100 B.C., where you will view the colossal statue of Ramses II and the Great Alabaster Sphinx. Afterward, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3:

Your day begins with a 7:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza, where you will meet your guide and embark on a comfortable 220-kilometer drive to Alexandria in a private, air-conditioned vehicle.

Arriving in Alexandria around 10:00 AM, you will begin a comprehensive tour of the city’s historic highlights. Your first stop is the ancient Roman Theater, featuring marble seating for up to 800 spectators, galleries, intricate mosaic flooring, and a pleasure garden framed by Roman villas and baths. Next, you will explore the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a remarkable three-level burial site containing the Triclinium—where relatives gathered on stone benches to honor the deceased—alongside 2nd-century A.D. statues of Sobek and Anubis clad in Roman armor, and detailed reliefs of bearded serpents.

The tour continues with visits to the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the historic Citadel of Qaitbay, and the stunning Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque. A full lunch at a local restaurant is included during your day in the coastal city.

After completing your sightseeing, you will begin the return journey, arriving back at your hotel in Cairo around 7:00 PM.

Day 4:

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you will board a private, air-conditioned vehicle for the return drive to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will begin a comprehensive day tour starting at the historic Egyptian Museum of Antiquities in Tahrir Square, home to a vast collection spanning 5,000 years of Egyptian art and housing over 250,000 genuine ancient artifacts.

Day 5:

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, our representative will meet you and provide transfer to Cairo International Airport at your scheduled departure time, assisting you through all final departure formalities.
