Day 1

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport at your scheduled flight time, our representative will meet you to assist with passport control formalities, luggage collection, and portage. You will then be transferred to your hotel in a comfortable, private, air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy the rest of your evening at your leisure with an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2

Day 3

Your day begins with a 7:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Your tour guide will accompany you on a comfortable 220-kilometer drive in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to Alexandria.

Upon arriving around 10:00 AM, you will embark on a comprehensive city tour starting at the Roman Theater, an impressive complex featuring marble seating for up to 800 spectators, galleries, preserved mosaic floors, and a pleasure garden surrounded by ancient Roman baths and villas.

Next, explore the remarkable Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, a multi-level subterranean burial site that blends Egyptian and Greco-Roman art. Here, you will see the Triclinium—where families held memorial feasts—alongside relief carvings of bearded serpents and 2nd-century A.D. statues of Sobek and Anubis clad in Roman armor.

Next, transition into Islamic Cairo, an area established in 641 A.D. by the Muslim commander Amr ibn al-A’as. Your tour includes visits to several monumental religious landmarks:

• Amr Ibn El-Aas Mosque: Built in 642 A.D. in Fustat, it stands as the first mosque constructed in Africa.

• Sultan Hassan Mosque & Madrasa: Founded in 1356 A.D. near the Citadel, this massive structure is one of the grandest examples of Mamluk architecture.
