Your day tour begins at 7:00 AM with a convenient pickup from your hotel, Nile Cruise, or Luxor Airport by your Emo Tours guide, followed by a comfortable transfer across the river in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to explore the West Bank.

Your first stop is the world-famous Valley of the Kings, the final resting place for the rulers of Egypt’s prosperous New Kingdom (c. 1550–1069 BC), as well as select royal family members and high-ranking officials. Situated in a desolate dry river valley across from ancient Thebes, the site is divided into the East and West Valleys, containing over 60 decorated tombs and an additional 20 unfinished chambers.

Next, visit the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Built by the female pharaoh Hatshepsut (c. 1473–1458 BC) and designed by her chief steward Senenmut, this architectural marvel—known as Djeser-Djeseru ("The Holy of Holies")—stands directly across the Nile from Karnak Temple.

Continue your journey to the iconic Colossi of Memnon, two towering stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood guarding his mortuary temple for thousands of years.

Afterward, transfer to the East Bank of Luxor to explore the vast Karnak Temple Complex. Developed over more than 1,000 years, Karnak was the largest and most significant religious site in ancient Egypt. Its centerpiece, the Temple of Amun-Ra, was considered the earthly home of Amun-Ra, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu, and features the monumental Great Hypostyle Hall built during the reign of Seti I.

Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to Luxor Temple, known in antiquity as Ipet-resyt ("The Southern Sanctuary"). Dating back to the Eighteenth Dynasty (c. 1550–1295 BC), this grand temple sits approximately three kilometers south of Karnak, to which it was once connected by the famous Avenue of Sphinxes.
