Start early on the West Bank at the Valley of the Kings, visiting three tombs included in the general ticket. Continue to Hatshepsut’s mortuary temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Cross to the East Bank for lunch (own expense), then spend the afternoon at Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever built, finishing at Luxor Temple as the light softens toward evening.
